Outpatient Total Joint Program

Aspire Home Healthcare has been on the forefront of caring for patients electing to have total joint replacements at an ambulatory surgery center (ASC). Aspire was initially involved in creating a pathway for these patient’s post-operative care with some of the top surgery centers in the Chicagoland area. Through our Direct-To-Home total joint replacement protocol of nursing and physical therapy care, we have serviced over 5,000 elective total joint cases at ASC’s and even a larger number of hospital based outpatient total joint surgeries.

• Provide on-site gait and stair training at the surgery center

• Same-day nursing care

• Skilled nursing and physical therapy visits within the first 7-10 days postoperatively

• Average patient progressing to outpatient PT within 10 days of surgery

• Constant communication with the surgeon and their team

• We currently service 15 ambulatory surgery centers in Illinois and Wisconsin
